Participating in COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
At COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Tagaddod proudly showcased its role as a regional leader in renewable feedstocks and circular economy solutions. As part of the Green Zone, Tagaddod highlighted its technology-driven platform for the collection, aggregation, and traceability of used cooking oil (UCO), a critical feedstock for biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). By presenting its innovative model, the team emphasised how waste-to-energy solutions can support Egypt and the broader region in achieving their sustainability and energy transition goals, while also empowering local communities and businesses to participate in the circular economy.

Throughout the conference, Tagaddod engaged with international stakeholders, policymakers, and private sector leaders to discuss the importance of reliable, traceable renewable feedstock supply chains in enabling the global shift to low-carbon energy. The company’s presence underscored its commitment to expanding impact not only in Egypt but also across MENA, Africa, and Europe, positioning Tagaddod as a strategic partner in advancing clean energy and climate resilience. COP27 served as a platform for Tagaddod to demonstrate its scalability, deepen collaborations, and reaffirm its role in shaping the future of sustainable energy.
